The New Certification Program

A modernized CPA certification program will prepare CPAs to lead in a fast-changing economic, technological and social environment.

The new CPA certification model has been developed and course content creation is now beginning. In this new model learners will continue to have to meet the profession's high standards through education, experience and comprehensive, competency-based assessments.

The profession will continue to have common standards of entry. This will be achieved through the combination of meeting practical experience requirements and successful completion of all three-parts of the comprehensive, summative examinations.

We anticipate the soonest the new program will be available is early 2027.
