Registration Information & Conditions

Enrolling in CPA NL's web-based or in-person PD Seminars declares your agreement with the following:

Registration Information:

Only registered individuals may attend a seminar. Each attendee or viewer must be registered for that offering. The sharing of a single registration among multiple individuals, including the sharing of webinar access and/or webinar screening with non-registered individuals, is strictly prohibited.

Please register early to secure your spot. This will also aid to prevent seminar cancellation due to low enrollment. The registration deadline is seven calendar days prior to the seminar date unless otherwise noted.

Registrations are processed on a first-come, first-served basis; walk-ins are not permitted. One registration permits one person to attend the seminar and receive verifiable CPD.

Seminar confirmations advising of the time and location will be sent by email. Please ensure that your member profile is up to date on the CPA NL website and includes your preferred email address.

Virtual Presentations:

All seminars will use the Zoom Conferencing solution as the training platform. The solution works with virtually all computers, and sign-up is free. A meeting link, ID and password will be included in the Course Confirmation email you will receive five business days before the event.

Paperless Course Materials:

The link to the course materials will be included with the Course Confirmation email which you will receive between one and five business days of the event.

Cancellation of Sessions by CPA NL:

The Association reserves the right to cancel seminars with insufficient enrolment one week before the course delivery date. Registrants will be notified by email of course cancellation and may enroll in an alternate course (subject to availability) or will receive a refund in the same manner as it was purchased.

Cancellations, Refunds and Substitutions:

No refund will be made for cancellations received within one week of the start of the course. For individual registrations and Organization PD Passport holders, an alternate may attend. It is the registrant’s responsibility to advise our office of the change.

Confirmations:

Confirmation of course registration will be emailed to registrants between one and five business days of the course start date.

Audio/Video Recording & Photography:

CPA NL may occasionally audio/video record seminars, or take photographs at seminars. Recordings and images may be edited and distributed in various publications, including social media, as well as educational products. PD Pass:

PD Passes are valid for courses taken from April 1 through to March 31 annually. PD Passes are valid only for the year in which they were purchased. The courses offered in our PD program are fully pass eligible. 

PD Pass holders who register for a course but give at least one week’s notice of cancellation may substitute another course. PD Pass holders who register for a course but do not give one week’s notice of cancellation will have the seminar counted toward their pass as if they had attended. Organization PD Pass holders may send an alternate; however, Personal PD Pass holders may not.
